DISC GOLF LOT
Can I somehow get this guy to pay attention to me?
This senior that I like, is really cool. He plays hockey, wants to be a fighter pilot, has two different colored eyes, plays disc golf, is really smart, etc. Well we have some stuff in common, and I want to get to know him better. Even if I’m not going to be his girlfriend, I want to be his friend. But the thing is, I’m really intimidated by him, because he’s a lot bigger and older than I am, so how can I get the ball rolling and start talking to him? Help please, he’s so awesome and I’d love to have him as a friend.
Not phyiscally, mentally. I’m just short, that’s why he’s so much taller than I am. And mentally because he’s a senior and I’m not, so I’m afraid that everything I’m going to say he’s going to laugh at.

You took me back quite a few years with your question 
Whatever you do in your life, please don’t change who you are for the sake of gaining attention. It appears by the way you have written the question that there might be a wee bit of a crush. You know, that is perfectly okay! Attraction is as natural as the sun rising and setting.
Unfortunately for the girls, as hormones run rampant because bodies are growing and lives and futures are forming… a lot of guys don’t give attention to those who are truly worthy. Their minds are somewhat preoccupied with other things.
Try and muster up the courage to compliment him on something VERY specific. Not like a stalker thing, but pick out something that other girls would not notice. I was in love (infatuated) with a semi-pro hockey player many many years ago. I knew everything there was to know about the game. I overdid things for him. You know what? He ended up dumping me for the girl that didn’t give him the time of day! But again, that’s my scenario. Not yours.
Be yourself. Be one of the ‘good girls’. A reputation is something that does follow you around. Your mystique is what will attract…
