Disc Golf: How much does Innova’s disc turn rating affect the disc?
I’ve been getting really into disc golf lately(only been playing for 2 weeks now). I was wondering when looking at discs from Innova how much does the turn rating affect it’s want to turn right for a right hand backhand throw?(not the low-speed fade in case someone confuses that with turn)
I’m mostly wondering because I’ve been looking at discs lately and am wondering if something with no negative turn would fly almost the same or a lot different than one with -4 turn.
It really depends on your skill level. If you are a new player and still developing a snap yoiu will not see much difference, really just one would go to the right quicker then the other. But once you get a good technique a disc like a Roadrunner (-4) will start to to go Right for you while a Teebird (0) will start to fly straight.
If you are looking for disc a Leopard is a great first driver. It is forgiving and can go a good ways.
