is there anysites to get free plans or any ideas on how to make a basket. and no i dont want to buy one. please help

Go ahead and buy a good portable, DISCatcher Sport for example, it will catch better than a homemade basket plus it can be used for tournament play if needed. $150 will buy you a good basket.
